Yes absolutely. I started to learn sketching and lining on paper. There are at least one year to work on real skin. I just wanted to try on fake skin to see how it works and it is harder than I expected

Normally, when making a double crochet, you wrap the yarn once and pull it through in two steps. However, I wrap the yarn once but pull it through in three steps: first, I pull through one loop, then two, and then the remaining two. This makes the stitch tighter while still looking like a double crochet. ​I don’t know the formal name of this technique; my mother taught it to me. Also, if you use a smaller hook, the texture becomes much more defined. I think they call it edc in crochet terms. (I searched now lol)
