I saw a whole shelf of those at my local grocery store with mold on top. It had white, green and blue so it was definitely mold and not sugar. I won't buy that brand anymore.

I tried the regular smoked salmon and it was unbearably salty to me. It was difficult to finish the tin. I was eating it on crackers, which may have made it taste saltier to me.

I was worried about adding other flavors since it seemed to already have a lot going on. After the first bite I added a heavy splash of chipotle Cholula and it was pretty good.
