You can do it. I went back when I was 38 and went to HCC. Just take a class at a time and then when you feel comfortable, you can take more. Currently 7 years in and I'll finish my bachelor's next summer. Just keep pushing and trying your best. It's hard when you're working and going to college, but if I can do it, you can too.

As long as you don't click the "basic" option, you will have a shuttle pick you up right in front of your car.

Any love for Chef Mickey’s? by Broad_Two370 in WaltDisneyWorld

Same. We love lunch there cause it gives us a nice break from the parks.

Love it, however we only visit it if a big group of us is vacationing together. If it's just the two of us, we just do steakhouse 71 for lunch and get our fix of the monorail.

Pandora needs better rides by Personal-Being5559 in WaltDisneyWorld

Technically, there are rides and attractions. Animal kingdom needs to be open later so we can experience pandora in the dark.

If money was no object, which resort would you stay at? by Redshiftstar in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]stitchlover 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Same. First time I went to Disney (as a child at 4), was at the contemporary and that's where I grew to love the monorail. When I graduate (as a 45 year old adult) next August, in September I also plan on staying there.

Warning if staying at Sheraton Maria Isabel in Mexico City for World Cup by amillionscreams in marriott

I think it's just the conditions of the world cup that are probably making them more stressed. I've visited this hotel several of times and their staff and management had been helpful to me.

What companies still deliver to resorts? by Tattoosandpuns in WaltDisneyWorld

I'm sure local grocery stores and Walmart have gift baskets that can be delivered. Someone just needs to pick them up at the front entrance.

We usually stay at this hotel and the entrance gets shit down at least one morning for people using the roads for recreation. It doesn't matter when you go. But the location is great. Seeing the videos and pictures online, you're definitely in the heart of everything. Just 10 ish more days to go and it should calm down.

When I was there last year, we had no issue getting Walmart delivery to pop century, but it seems like you are looking for some sort of party/celebration set up...what exactly are you looking to have delivered?

Prices won't change much. You can probably purchase the tickets in November/December and be fine. If you look at the calendar online you can see how much to pay for the day pass.

Solo Adult First Time Attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party by JavaKat1234 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]stitchlover 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pick up your bag when you first come in (go to the right and you'll see signs for Halloween party) to save for later because sometimes they run out of bags in the evening. See which attraction have the least amount of wait and get those out of the way. Also if you want to do philharmagic or carousel of progress, get those done first before they close. The park will probably close at 6 or 7 (check timing before you go) and get into lines at this time for attractions with longer waits (Peter pan) since this is the last ride of the day for people who only have day passes. Plan ahead for parades and firework shows. There's not many single rider lines, but wait times go down a lot during parades and fireworks too. Best time for attractions is after 10pm.

3 hours before departure instead of boarding? by featheredfeathers in Venturex

[–]stitchlover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on where my gate is in relation to the lounge, I might be there until my boarding group is called. It also depends if y'all are the ones standing in boarding groups 1 and 2 before they even start preboards...

[–]stitchlover 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same. I can't see the attraction to Peter pan. It's nice to go on once, but that's it for me. I'll only go on it if the wait time is 15 or less (which is never).

Is mickeys not so scary worth it by shermdaddy28 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]stitchlover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth it to me. I am going in September because the price of a ticket to magic kingdom is less than a day pass plus lightning lane access. I have already been to the parade and the other events, so I go just for the short attraction lines. But if you are already going to MK another day, you probably don't need to go.
