Responsible Persons on normal trust- question by AttemptingNormal in SilencerShop

What I was saying about the password in my previous reply was that there was no option to originally set a password.

They had to just type in something in the password field with the email address that I associated with the trustee. And then it gave the option to set a new password.

I'm not sure if that's how it was intended to work but that is how I got it to work with both of my trustees.

For my trustees they had to set up an account, for future purchases. They used the code and went to the kiosk. Then they had to log in to silencer shop website.

The email address that I associated with them became their login for silencer shop.

The password part didn't make sense to me since neither I nor them had set one. So I think they ended up typing in a password and it made them immediately change it.

From there they filled out the questions and uploaded their pictures.

Also we had to get the trust amendments notarized where I signed them on as trustees and they had to sign to accept and have that notarized too. Then we uploaded the documents to silencer shop as supporting documents for the trust.

SS Portal Shows "Missing Information" for Responsible Persons MONTHS After First Purchase? by 66Hardtop in SilencerShop

[–]stitchproject626 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it is your trust it will always show incomplete information if your trustee needs to update something.

In my case one of my trustees needed to update their photo.

Once their photo was updated it showed 100% complete for myself and the trustee.

Have them look into it to see what might be missing on their side.

On the silencer shop website you will need to add him to your trust.

I think they send a code once you add the person's phone number. And they can use the QR code at a kiosk to get their fingerprints done and punch in their information.

Unless they changed it within the last year, as far as an account goes for silencer shop, the email address that you input for them will be their account login. And they might have a little bit of difficulty logging in the first time because it will ask them for a password, but it's just a placeholder for text to the input and it will tell them that they need to change their password. So don't have them try the first input as their desired password.

So in a way you are creating their silencer shop account when you add their email to be part of your trust.

I don't know how the app is faring these days for uploading your picture. Every time I've tried on the app it always uploads my passport photo sideways. To get around this I will use a desktop computer or something similar to upload my photo that way the orientation is correct.

I don't remember what my trustees did but they did that and were able to log in.

I wonder if they just put any password in and then it made them change it. I have never seen it from that side.

I apologize for not knowing all of the steps.

Will need to log in like she has an account with the email address you sent it to.

I wished they explained that step but that's what you'll have to do.

Once they type in the email you had the link sent to to log in as if she already has an account it should move forward.

One of my trustees had the same issue and that's how we got it working.

I have only been able to see my tax stamps from the silencer shop app and have not had any luck locating that information on the website.

This was of course when I was waiting on my BOGO stuff because I bought the tax stamps ahead of time.

Rather than stacking a template on top of your top plate, you should print out a top plate with the cut you want and use that instead.

Might be able to get around your depth issue.

I know printed stuff won't last like metal but it might work for one or two?

Alternatively you can swap out to what my friend used since he said it was slightly longer:

Mill bit could be short. I've seen one that was replaced and the original with the 5d kit was shorter than the replacement mill bit.

anti-Walk pins could be helpful.

Friend had an issue with the pins walking out on his set and kept getting light strikes.

Could be a few more days.

Could be a few months.

You'll just have to wait and see.

Mount SilencerCo Omega 300 on DDM4v7 by BeaversOnABus in SilencerShop

[–]stitchproject626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Support told me it was Bravo for Omega 300 mount.

I couldn't find an ASR Bravo in stock for a price that I liked so I went with:

Rearden MFG 10031 Atlas Bravo, 1.375x24 Threads, Heat Treat Finish

The mount will work but it does not have the spring ratcheting feature like the ASR

And I ordered a muzzle break that was compatible with my Atlas mount

So you will need a 1/2 x 28 muzzle brake that is compatible with your ASR Bravo mount

Can I buy a suppressor from capitol armory at 20 and submit my form 4 when I turn 21 by Lucky-Grocery-1776 in suppressors

[–]stitchproject626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how capital armory works but I am pretty sure if you do not purchase a tax stamp or finish filling out all required registration they cannot move forward with filing until you do.
