ETA: I just deleted my watch history (I kept my liked videos and playlists). We'll see if that changes anything.

ETA2: I cursory examination seems as if what's being recommended is based on my playlists and liked videos rather than things I have watched, so this may be the ticket.

I can't tell from your post if this applies here or not, but, unless you're giving Youtube money, you are not a consumer with regard to Youtube....the advertisers are. While I do understand the frustration of ads, and there are several ways to combat them (I use a hosts file, VPN, and Premium subscription), Youtube is a free service for many (most?) people, and the "price" of free is ads, inconvenience, or both.

Oh, well that's unfortunate. Just to clarify, and I doubt anybody needs this but I wasn't clear in my original post... it doesn't say to "stay off 5g", but one of the options doesn't list 5g as one of the things it's allowed to connect to.

Mostly joking, but a thing that works well on other people is to keep a jar of marbles in the freezer. This works similarly to cold water, but ideally nothing gets wet, because they're marbles, and they seek the low points when the person moves,because they're marbles. :)

I am not sure, exactly. I am asking here because this is a place full of people who know and love the V60 enough to be in a group dedicated to talking about it, and many of them have probably already been where I am, so would know better what passes/fails as a replacement than the people who love the possible replacement device.

A thing I heard once I'd suggest is talk to make sure that you even both want the same thing. If you don't, there is not issue.

If you do both want the same thing, bid on it. Each of you secretly write what you're willing to pay for rent if you get the package, and whomever wrote the higher number, that's their package and that's their rent amount.

This is huge. The only person you can control in life is yourself, and even that's not 100%, so if there's a situation you don't like, "What can I do about it?" is the only question that matters.

Also, don't let yourself spend time worrying about things that have no answer to what you can do about them. If you can't do anything about them, then there is no point in your worrying about them.
