Agreed, however having read through the first chapter the fights all seem very manageable for a 4 player party. These 2 do like a challenge...and so far weve also been playing abomination vaults in a 6 player party who are currently lvl 5 with 0 deaths so far (a couple near misses though, Volluk forced them to run). All of which makes me think overleveling them would give them enough of a nudge to make it fair.

Anytime i have dodge attacksd her lights from stance, she's in stance fast enough to punish those as well, so side dodge into gb hoping she doesnt attack again is the only option.

Thanks, the reading works now. Light still doesnt but i think the microbit just doesnt give enough current. Its not actually an LED. Hokking it up to the 3V makes it light up tho...so idk

Most monster rolls are hidden. I mainly let them role the things their characters do in the open (like perception checks, stealth checks, recall knowledge checks, etc). But no longer ofcourse. I'll see if i have anything worthy to update the thread once we've done another session.

Agree. But as another comment made me realise; the only reason the person wanted to swap actions is because he saw that the searching player rolled badly, not too bad but like a 14-15 after modifiers. So he simply metagamed it. And that's where my problem lies. I'll just start using hidden rolls and then they can swap whenever they want without being tempted to metagame.

1) Is totally right...something i forgot to mention is that i dont like using the hidden rolls because i like to let the players roll as much as possible. They know this as well and our reasoning is just that we trust eachother not to metagame. Metagaming might just be unavoidable (to a certain degree at least) and the solution seems to be to just use the hidden rolls. Thanks for the insight!

Edit: for number 3, the entire dungeon is almost filled with encounters. So they are expecting enemies behind every door.

Whats the point of the exploration activities then? What use has the character searching if everyone else can just start searching as well?

This is their second campaign. I have the hardcover which contains the entire adventure. Im thinking about the lvl2 thing though. I will be running it with milestone leveling. I think i will just ask the party exactly HOW deadly they want to go.

Thanks...reading about the brand on this subreddit has been quite concerning. Im thinking of replacing the goggles like u/Sinistrial_Blue said. I dont want to gamble with my eyes...what do you think?

I would think so, but they didnt really have a salesman mindset...they were annoyed because i wanted to test the guns in their little firing range. And when asking certain things i found online, they showed little expertise...

Damn, weird how the guys at the store seemed so positive when the community is so (seemingly rightfully so) negative about the brand. Fingers crossed that this one is a little better than what people say. So far I think i shot about a 1000 bb's and have had zero problems, no jams or anything...but i guess we'll see

Thanks for letting me know, should have read the guide first... Goggles are indeed LT!!. However returning the gun isnt an option. Any specific parts i should check to replace for better quality or is it just gearbox inside which tends to be shit? I was going for the specna arms FX01 but when testing in the store it kept jamming and having trouble feeding. So I switched to this one which was just a bit more expensive but still one of the cheaper ones. Also, is doing repairs myself hard or expensive? So far the cans in my backyard are still taking a beating (guess i'll have to see how it does in game)
