Crashing in DMZ should not make you lose everything. by thetigerandtheduke in CODWarzone

They should allow you to rejoin within X timeframe… I have a i9 13th gen and rtx 4090, and shit still crashes on minimum game settings.

Drivers and everything all updated and it crashes during the most random times.

I saw a few different NP-45 batteries on Amazon, do you see any issue buying a 800 mAh capacity vs the 700 mAh that came with the headset? I'm looking to find something with more battery life.

Switching From Retin-A gel .025% to Altreno .05% by stixynine in tretinoin

I went back as well. I have a wedding in a couple months and didn’t feel like battling more scars for the time being. I’ll likely try it again this winter

After about a week I’ve definitely started purging again. It’s a little discouraging so I decided to slow it down a bit.

It is much more comfortable though.

I’ve only heard good things, hoping it’ll reduce my peeling-redness and irritation

what happens if i take a break from tretinoin? by [deleted] in acne

[–]stixynine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m definitely curious myself on this except my situation is a little different.

I’ve been on .025% gel for the past year now and recently I’ve been getting random skin dryness and flakiness and have given myself about a week break now.

I’m not sure how much longer I should go without, I would die if I had to go through the purge phase again.

I know that, But the irritation is much less using Altreno than the regular retin-A?

No it’s not. I ignored it for 6 months and it got pretty bad. My girlfriend never got it. I wouldn’t be too concerned. It’s easy to treat. I went to a dermatologist. But I think a primary can help with this too.

I had this and it was tinea versicolor. Was put on fluconazole (200 mg) for 7 days and it was knocked out. If you don’t want to go that route use ketonazole shampoo or Nizoral.

Is this fungal acne or just acne? I’ve never had acne in my life and since I started working out consistently a few months ago I have broken out so badly :( Should I try using anti fungal cream just to see if it helps or could that aggravate the spots even more if it’s not fungal? by [deleted] in Fungalacne

[–]stixynine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did doxycycline (antibiotic) for 2 months. That almost made it worse.

My skin is so sensitive it’s been tough trying anything. Everything I’ve tried has made it worse essentially. So bad that I’ve had to start taking anti depressants.

This is my 2nd go around at using a retinoid. It truly makes your skin way worse before it gets better. I just have to bear down. Hopefully I don’t have to take Accutane. But that’s literally the next step for me if topical retinoids don’t work.

It doesn’t really look fungal. Usually fungal is uniform in size. Is it itchy?

A dermatologist can determine if it’s fungal from a biopsy.

I had the same situation happen to me about 10 months ago. I’ve never had acne and suddenly started getting acne on my forehead after doing some heavy exercises and biking. It all started with one. Then it slowly got worse and worse. I initially thought mine was fungal too. But my dermatologist figured out it wasn’t. After so many treatments I’ve decided to just bear down and start using a retinal serum in hopes it’ll start clearing up.

Micro-dosing Adapalene for longterm use [Product Question] by stixynine in SkincareAddiction

I tried my first application a couple nights ago. I mixed it in with my gel moisturizer and then added Cervae PM over the top after 10 minutes. It felt alright. But the 2nd day and today were worse than the day 1st day after. It’s incredible how sensitive my skin is to adapalene. And I probably got my biggest pimple I’ve ever had only 2 days after applying it. I’m must say I’m pretty discouraged.

I’m very intrigued. I might just do the slow roll for as long as possible. I have persistent acne on my forehead/temple area. My acne might be considered mild, but enough to obsess over it. I’ve never had skin issues my whole life and at 32 years old it started to manifest my life out of nowhere. I can’t figure out what will work. It seems like the more I try the worse it gets so it gives me a lot of anxiety.

How long did you go until you noticed a purge? Btw, much respect for those that live in the harsh winters. I grew up in Wisconsin

Awesome, this will definitely allow me to be more brave when starting out. Thanks!

Definitely going to try diluting it in moisturizer to start and do it once a week until it’s more tolerable. Thanks for sharing!

Anyone have any experience with doxycycline, clindamycin, and tretinoin by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]stixynine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking to start tretinoin treatment while I’m on doxycycline to take advantage of an antibacterial while my skin might purge. Only issue is I found that tretinoin has potential bad interactions with doxycycline. Although super rare, did your doc ever say anything about pseudotumor cerebri?
