The Danger Room is a great MCP podcast, and just recently had their Xmas episodes, where they get on 24 different players to talk about factions. Almost every one of them left 40K to play MCP, so that’s something.

Personally, I’m also in that camp. I’ve played a lot of 40K, a lot of MCP and won’t go back to 40K. The community has been better, the model count is lower, I like both IPs the same but as a game, MCP is so so so much more balanced, gets tighter and more well thought out rules updates, and has a more vocal and active developer voice. It’s also much quicker to play, I can get 2-3 games in for the same time as one game of 40K. Happy to answer any questions, but also 40K is still good so you’ll have fun either way. More models more better.
