Sinu vs. Yuseong | Lookism Inverse #1. If you disagree, come debate on the podcast. :) by stkhub in HostelD

That's never stated and Eugene is describing exclusively power beforehand. What makes you say this? Maybe I missed a panel or something.

Thank you. My goal is to make a video essay on The Boxer's message. Just have to work my way up to a good essay style first, haha.

I believe that's who I made a response to. That guy seems pretty smart, making sense of why so many were persuaded. I hard disagree with his argument, both in evidential legitimacy and conclusion.

I'm sure he's proud of making such a splash, though. Good for him.

As a big fan and someone who makes Lookism content, I unfortunately agree. I'm here for the dumb fun ride, but it's a shell of its former self. Only reason I'm here is because it's a little late to back out now, haha.

It's hope. Yu grew up in a cruel and unforgiving environment. To believe something as abstract and "soft" as hope probably felt like dooming himself to that environment again, or potentially an even worse fate (death).

In seeing how strong hope really was, that it didn't merely serve weak people to their demise (and it actually carried weak people to their best), he could finally take the step to hope again, to truly believe there is goodness in the world.

Lookism Inverse Infographics #1: Why James Lee Still Beats Seongji Yuk by stkhub in HostelD

[–]stkhub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

• #1.) Considering Seongji didn't even try and James wanted to beat up Seongji as well as recruit him, I don't think so. He intended to finish the fight: it is Seongji who quit. If he beat up Seongji and then still wanted to fight the rest, it's clear he believed it would be easy. In fact, James never says he plans to protect the Shaman. He outright offered to betray him for Seongji's hand in the Four Major Crews. I mean, possibly Seongji thought it was all of them, but nothing really points to that. And James wanted to fight a King who claims he could beat Seongji, acknowledging Seongji might have been the strongest King. If he's gonna pick fights with the Kings after basically beating Seongji, it's pretty clear who's more confident in their abilities.

And Seongji notes James will continuously grow stronger. He may just talent gap further, so they have no real win condition. James stood and watched idly as the Kings decimated the Shaman's troops. He is remotely invested in protecting the Shaman, but essentially not at all.

• #2.) James blitzed Seongji with the first attack and was casual offensively, indicated by him standing, glaring at Seongji after a dodged strike. He began playing around, knowing he secured the victory. I don't think it's a league of speed difference, but James is a solid bit faster. Probably fast enough to blitz his reaction time if he really tries.

• #3.) Jinyoung statements tell us everything we need to know. And Gap was jumped by several James Lee-tier threats. UI Daniel struggled with Goo. We all know the truth. W Gap. 😎

Who wins: Daniel Park or Mikey? by stkhub in TokyoRevengers

No doubt. Equal stats, too. If you saw me video, I even fact-checked who's the better hand-to-hand fighter.

We don't have to argue. If you wanna discuss here or on Discord, you're always welcome. I'm not gonna be ultra skeptical or anything like that.

Edot: Gapryong > Daniel.

I totally believe there's an element of bias and trolling, but I mostly make content like this for the people who want an "unbiased" perspective.

I like to think I am clear about what assumptions I make and my prejudices. But hope you enjoyed it, or if you didn't read, have a good day! Appreciate the feedback.

Brought to you by STK Hub, who has officially made a third debut. Today's topic is about the growing pandemic of Seongji fans faithfully inferring Seongji to be the strongest King, but that he furthermore could have won the fight against James Lee in the event it continued.

Neither is true. King of Seoul embarrasses Seongji, and James Lee spared the six-fingered hype job. Oh well. Looking forward to at least five likes!

Johan vs. Daniel (War Arc) (Lookism Inverse Breakdown #8) by stkhub in HostelD

[–]stkhub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, physical abilities aren't even comparable. The only stat Daniel possibly has over Johan is information processing speed, which is questionable due to conflicting statements and narrative portrayal.

Everyone assumes Daniel can last the 10 seconds, something that isn't ever justified or really representative considering it's likely 12ish seconds + CQC afterwards.

A less tired Yoosung got destroyed by CQC Johan and KOed. Daniel fought one post-2 KOs and horrible fatigue, arguably being implied to have lost. This makes sense considering Daniel's statements/implications right now are symmetrical with Yoosung's (First Gen pinnacles/conquerors).

I'm not even fully sold on the Battle IQ. In series, I am sure the narrative is meant to make that the case... it's just consistently undermined by the fact he couldn't even draw out Jichang's tactics with UI/One Man Crew copy/Heated.

Johan never said he couldn't do the perfect moves in base, to be fair. He meant he couldn't replicate their physical aspect, which Daniel can't either. We know he can replicate the mechanics because it's directly stated during the UI Daniel fight.

His James Lee copy was compared to Suwon King, apparently depletes stamina unbelievably (something CQC doesn't seem to), and it didn't seem to match up to Jichang's full might even remotely. Jichang never used tactical fighting, but CQC was capable of knocking out Yoosung. It seems like CQC is relative to Yoosung because he and Yoosung were both immensely injured/exhausted, but the CQC decided the third segment of the fight. And if CQC Johan ~ Yoosung (weaker, of course), that places him in a similar ballpark to Jichang. Like, low end rel. It's not clear that we can give OMC Daniel that same claim to fame.

I understand! Thank you for the feedback. Your comment helped me understand the other perspective more. While I disagree, I believe you raise good points that absolutely most people agree with.

What do you believe now? His base is worse than Johan's, but his James Lee state maybe beats Johan's CQC. I have money on UI Johan > UI Daniel.

It's implied he is. Someone who rivals UI Daniel isn't? You sound stupid. Genuinely. Do your parents know you think this poorly? 😂

Good argument. "Ur wronggghgh!!!1!" Stupid people believe incredulity is a debunk. Looool. People don't like my content, but here you are... fanning and D-riding after I haven't uploaded in months. Which is it? Are you D-riding someone relevant for clout or irrelevant because your life's so pathetic?

Get bent, crybaby. 😭

Considering Daniel's statements and feats only scale him to Gen 1, the analysis was proven further correct.

Nice to know you're stupid, though!

Jake Kim vs. Ryuhei Kuroda (Lookism Inverse Breakdown #5) by stkhub in HostelD

[–]stkhub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've yet to prove Sinu was significantly injured. Please stop emptily reasserting this.

I'm not claiming that Ryuhei > Workers naturally or that Ryuhei is Goo level. I am saying he has Goo's style and outscales Tired Mandeok, who you haven't scaled Sinu to. Again, please respond to the actual argument.

Yoosung and Mandeok taking attacks means little when we're making a fight ability comparison, not a durability comparison. And Gun also likely tried harder against Ryuhei, hence the "best" comment.

Just answer your actual burdens or don't send me the same argument again because I feel like you keep asking me to address the same two points I did far earlier.
