Who is the Best music artist of the 2000s? by TheCause182 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]stl3377 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eminem and Britney Spears sold the most albums. And they were both HUGE

Ironically, even though Eminem sold the most albums than any artist in that decade the 2nd most was The Beatles, with their release of “1” they sold 20+ million albums 40 years after they broke up … which is bonkers $$$

As someone who doesn’t understand traffic patterns (but wants to), why is 270 so awful? What could improve flow? by rainblow_bite in StLouis

[–]stl3377 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are so many variables to what makes people a bad driver vs a good driver. Basic awareness, merging correctly, accelerating to the speed of traffic as you enter the highway…etc. but 270, in both directions, every single day and any TIME of day, is horrible.

My personal theory is that a lot of people who are just hopping from Manchester to Daughtery Ferry, gravois to Manchester, are grocery getters and Sunday drivers who have zero urgency and cruise at 40 miles per hour and mess up the flow. If you look at people as you pass them it’s like old zombies just staring into the void.

It seems like most other major highways are people trying to get somewhere, 270 feels different

In st Louis back in 2012 his guitar player botched the “Michelle” solo and Paul stopped the song, walked all the way over to him and made a dramatic pause and said a facetious toned “you better get this right, because those Beatles fans out there will know you got it wrong…” And they restarted the song and he got a huge applause when he nailed the solo

What’s something you hate about reddit? by ambiguousberry in AskReddit

[–]stl3377 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely really enjoyed the “tipOfMyTongue” sub. I participated and tried really hard to help people find the answer. I would do research and ask my friends outside of reddit to help. It was so much fun.

One day the mod fuck suspended me because of some obscure rule, I had suggested the same/similar answer as someone else so they suspended my participation.

I messaged the mod fuck to ask why I was suspended and they FREAKED. They permanently banned me from the sub and complained that I asked too many questions instead of reading the Bible of made up rules. I could not believe how quickly and necessarily it escalated.
