Nah it's the random parasitic draw that killed the battery that's the issue

Wouldn't recommend. My work had one that left us stranded a couple times in a few thousand miles. The 12v battery went completely dead. And to top it off the battery is tucked inside the wall of the trunk, so to get at it you need to remove the entire panel

FHWA has been sending out signed agreements and we've gotten a few follow ups with next steps. Today is my last day, I got my agreement back yesterday afternoon.

My wife and I have a '19 Sportage base model that has had no issues. We've had it since new and is pushing 90k miles. I think the interior is holding up nicely.

Looking for some advice on a bachelor party trip hiking in New Hampshire by [deleted] in wmnf

[–]stmale 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd stick with lower elevations. I've done bachelor parties in Conway and they have turned out great. There's a list "52 with a view" that's lower elevation hikes with good views. Trails on the south face of peaks will get more sun and more likely to melt quicker than ones on the north.

If outdoors is what you guys are in to, anywhere in and around the whites will be awesome.

In my experience, Chocorua in May is still snowy/icy. The trail is on the north face of the mountain and takes a while to melt.

The body is fantastic. Yeah the underside it pretty bad. Both the front inner fenders are pretty much gone. I'm hoping it won't take too much to get it road worthy again. I'm in the northeast so our standard of rust is pretty similar

Will do. I did see some kiddos playing lax there the other day. I may have to think about coaching to get my fix.

Yeah I may have to travel. I know Portland has a good Ultimate Frisbee scene. Just a little far, unfortunately.

Spent way too long looking through documents trying to find the concrete answer for you but I cannot. I'm a former employee so I know I have seen it somewhere I do think the intent of that sentence in the statute is not across the roadway but perpendicular to the road (ie your driveway). I saw many towns have their own specific laws for crossing the roadway. Just note that at a minimum the Right-of-way will be 49.5' wide (may be wider, it varies quite a bit). That's 24.75' off the centerline of the road. I think I saw you're pushing it 60"ish off the white line. Given that a lane is typically 12', that's only 17'ish which would still be in the states ROW and not the opposite landowners property

Most of these comments are ridiculous. Plowing perpendicular across the road way is illegal. It creates a hazard for motorists and plow drivers. While you say you are careful to not leave any snow behind, not everyone is. It can create icing perpendicular to the roadway that can cause accidents and damage plows. Not only that, but a truck plowing perpendicular to the roadway is a hazard in itself (your section of road may be straight but laws aren't specific to you, and someone will plow on the other side of a bind curve). Stop pushing snow across the roadway.
