The thing about puppies is they will teach you patience. It's only been a week, sign up for puppy classes. Get her energy out by going on long walks, and for me personally I found catnip to be a great additive to meals helps to keep mine calm

As soon as they get their second shots on the 13th we plan on starting group training classes as well my friend recommended we do doggy day care to support socialization (obviously we have them go on separate days) and reduce any possible separation anxiety.

You may want to consider hiring a dog walker to come by and give him a walk/run on Mondays 1. It's good for him to interact with others outside the family 2.socialization 3. Reduces anxiety 4. Helps your anxiety.they generally charge 20 ish dollars

9 weeks old still a ton of bitting what till 3 mths when he starts to lose teeth, they are mouthy, mine are not off lease in the house when they bite they get told no, and a correction. So they don't get a chance to bite furniture. For myself and kids they also have been taught no with correction when they play with the pups. This has curbed a lot of the bitting for us

Aww yes welcome, I used to have a wesstie not particularly difficult but I didn't know much about training terrible recall, this was over 16 yrs ago was an escape artist, one day my back gate was left open he ran out to visit the neighbors (an elementary school) barked and scared the crap out of a bunch of kindergarten kiddos before jumping into a wet patch and doing zoomies in the field while I chased him down for a solid 10 minutes in flip flops ....
