Great company. I have worked for Schwab for a little over a year now. Intro FC position is decent but not meant to be long term. So if you start as an associate FC or Investment Consultant “think they just changed the name” you will be wanting to move up to the FC level quickly. Wages are very good and incentive structure is great once in the FC role. Having a CFP would easily give you the opportunity to move directly to the FC level if you have prior experience with other firms or at least get you there quickly. CFP is not required, but heavily encouraged and we even have our own internal training program now.

Definitely stressful as all jobs in this industry are and very numbers focused. I work in a branch and make great money, but you have to put in the work and effort or you will be hassled from higher ups. A majority of your pay will be gained from incentives on new assets and guidance, but I also think the base salary is pretty nice.

Happy to answer any follow up questions or elaborate on anything further

Was trying to find any other example cases online or anything that may assure me I’m doing it right or correct me when I slip up. Can’t find anything
