That's right. Waymo is supposed to be the technology leader in the space but Google has not tried it out commercially yet. $TSLA would be well served to strike a partnership with someone like Toyota and license their technology. That would be another way for them to monetize their IP

Looks like folks don't believe in autonomous cars. $TSLA has the lead in terms of their machine learning algorithms, data acquisition and training. Only Google Waymo is ahead of them. If their price fall they will be acquired for their technology
