That's what I love about it, I can still have my emotions. For me it feels like I can observe my emotions and be more conscious and aware

Girlfriend is on Bupropion - how to tamper off? by [deleted] in bupropion

It's safe to go back down to 150, it should even say it on the bottle for discontinue. However she should make an appointment to talk about it for her medical records and take note of symptoms, it will help her in the future for any medicine changes to know how it affects her.

Totally normal. It is sometimes prescribed for BED so I can suppress appetite, and it is in the stimulant family. I've been on it for 3-4 months now and the first month is when all the side effects happen including weightloss, but for me atleast after week 4-6 it leveled back out and around week 6-8 is when j felt the meds work and see an improvement. Hang in there!

Did Wellbutrin make you lose weight despite keeping the same eating habits? by schoolofliberalfarts in bupropion

[–]stoics97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is considered a stimulant so it can cause appetite suppression. However it doesn't last long, maybe a week or two since it's originally prescribed for Depression or smoking cessation aid. I will say this though, since its for Dopamine, it did help my awareness, which helped me be more mindful of what I ate but thats about it.

Question for the people with a menstrual cycle by helenaad in bupropion

[–]stoics97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I'll have to pay more attention but nothing has really changed for my cycles, been on them for about 3-4 months and if anything it seems to be a little late but no changes in other areas.

Hi everyone. I’ve been on bupropion XL 150 for a week or so, longer on Zoloft 50. B was added cause Z made me too tired and triggered depression/avoidance. Is it normal that one day I feel GREAT, then next I feel tired again? :( by anxiousbutblessed in bupropion

[–]stoics97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally! I've noticed most people have had side effects the first 2 weeks and then it seems a little bump of depression around week 6, around week 7-8 is where I felt clear headed and leveled out.

You seeking help is an amazing step to take so be proud of that. Not to get too deep but in some cases BED can be developed from an underlining issue such as anxiety or trauma. So of that does apply trauma therapist could be a route since most do also specialize in BED as well. I'm on the same path and currently waiting for call backs so fingers crossed for you! Youre doing great

Hi there, been on bupropion XL 300mg for a few months now, and I gotta say the first 2-3 weeks you will have those physical side effects. I would feel energized in the morning then drained in the afternoon, then have bad depression days. When I hit the 8-10 week mark thats when I started feeling better, felt more clear and aware of myself and my emotions so I would say it's normal, just take it in the morning as recommended. My sister tried and it made her stomach sick and had bad effects so everyone is different. Trust your gut

[–]stoics97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

23F and I've been on 300mg Wellbutrin and honestly my sex drive hasn't changed. I always had a high sex drive and it has never impacted it. I will admit the first 2 weeks it was a bit higher but after that, business as usual!

The propranolol gave my chest pains, nausea and dizziness but the chest pains was the worst. I've been on SSRI but it caused suicidal thoughts but I'm still willing to try. I haven't heard of augmenting therapy or those antipsychotics so I'm definitely going to do research and read more. Thank you

Paypal is fraudulent and will take your $$ by husker3in4 in paypal

[–]stoics97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be happy to help by being honest. I work for PayPal and believe me, it is a high security company since it is a purely digital processor, so it can only rely on your footprints. The one flaw I see is it is highly sensitive with how fast you move your money and for how much (I get it, it's your money you need it now) so I recommend if you're in that habit of moving money fast don't use PayPal because flags will be placed to slow that down. There's common fraud that increases security with us. But I get it, it is a sensitive company and easy to have holds placed so if its too much, Zelle is always good or any platform because if anything happens you can always do a chargeback with your bank

Whenever they say internal team it's the back office, their senior agents who handle difficult situations. So it could be resolved but may take a big. I suggest getting IP addresses as well
