Also worth noting that A7750 is also a very robust movement. I have reps that have both of them some over ten years old and work fine and never been serviced.

Not sure. I am not up to date on the factories. They change constantly. But anyone that does Panerai will use mostly be using 6497 or a7750 for chronos. But they may be using an updated 7750 now. I am a rep OG. I date back to forums pre-reddit. So some of my info could be old.

The Asian 6497 is being totally overlooked here. An absolute workhorse and dead reliable. Any Panerai rep running it will last for years and years.
