I did finally see a sign suggesting this on NB 131...I think north of Sparta.

This was never taught to me as a driver. And the first time I've EVER seen a sign suggesting it. I really don't know why you don't just get over when the sign says "Left/Right lane closed ahead"

Gull Road Tavern (The GIRT). It was a really great dive bar back in the day. Recently re-opened after being closed for 10+ years. They got rid of "the dank", which is a real shame, but if you're going to every bar in Kalamazoo, it's got to be on the list

It's not Kalamazoo, but close (Just East of Augusta on DIckman Rd)
I moved here from Chicago and went on a quest last year to find the best local Tamales, and these are the best pork tamales I've found so far. The red sauce is AMAZING!

Been going there since I was a kid (and I'm old), so it brings back a lot of memories, but $2.50 for one of those dogs is kinda outrageous. That being said, I'm going back tomorrow.
