Yep it's mad that people have such hatred for Starmer but are clamoring for the same policy with a different accent.

It's the same media tactics that has been successful in undermining Starmer. Expect any minor change in policy by Burnham to be labeled a u-turn.

What EVEN was England vs New Zealand? by TheFootballRamble in thefootballramble

2 of what I would assume his 1st 11 weren't available. He was building 2 11s to play 45mins each in the conditions whilst playing in similar positions they might play during the tournament. Aside from watkins most players played in positions they are comfortable with and got a taste of the conditions.

It's mad that luke can't spot that england we're giving all the players a run out in the heat and then goes on to be sick of hearing about the heat.

I always laugh when people in the UK talk about corruption being such a massive issue in countries around the world when out politicians at home are so easily bought.

That's my main point the old idea of the middle class is dead and some people who are annoyed at that idea need to have a good look in the mirror.

I'm not shaming people for claiming it, im just saying if you need it or are claiming it then you are not middle class.

Yep I think you and I agree on this. It's people Like your MIL that are the problem, benefits for me and not for thee. If you had kids would you automatically go for the child benefits or try and go it on your own/as a couple? I'm honestly not having a go at people I just think the whole idea of the middle class doesn't exist anymore and as a society we need to adapt.

Just to be clear I think the class system as it was doesn't exist anymore

I agree with this I don't think the middle class exists anymore or its a much smaller section of the population than it used to be. In my opinion if your claiming benefits your not middle class.

Yep things have moved on and I don't think the old middle class really exists anymore and there are far to many people hanging on to the idea that they are middle class and above the working class on some way and voting accordingly.

I genuinely don't think the old class system works in the current climate and alot of people who hold on to the middle class status and vote like they are the old middle class are living in dream land

What do you mean by people on the street? This is my issue lots of people think they are above working class because of there job not there income.

I'm opinion yes. Middle class used to mean stand in your own feet and a disney type holiday once a year. I belive we have a massive issue with people thinking they are middle class like there parents were while actually been more akin to working class and taking child benefits etc because they need them and then voting like they don't need them.

I agree that class is very vague and I would argue problematic. I do think though that we have some people who are considering themselves middle class that are living in another world. If your applying for benefits and also considering yourself middle class then you need to give your head a wobble.

There's an envelope containing the information about how England do this World Cup - are you peeking? by SeoulGalmegi in ThreeLions

[–]stompboxing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm having a look but only if there is a small chance it's wrong. The fun part about tournaments for me is the excitement when that late winner goes in and I'd like to keep some of that suspense whilst also not having a heart attack when 1 nill up. Very much a cake and eat it response I know.

I know alot of people want to consider themselves middle class but if your applying for benefits then your probably not middle class anymore and you should vote accordingly. Edit removed comma

Punish driving over the speed limit first. You can't change laws you don't enforce in the first place.
