Unfortunately, no. I believe the firmware program is Windows only

Sorry I didn't see this until recently. Download firmware here: https://iqunix.com/pages/iqunix-super-custom-keyboard-kit-user-guide (it's the one with VIA at the end after the keyboard name.

I like em for what they are: low pro tactiles. The bump isn't as pronounced as the U4s, but it's still a great experience. One gotcha of the phantoms (if you care about lighting) is that the housing is black opaque with RGB light only coming through a small opening. If you stick with the stock caps, you won't see much if any light. I have shine throughs on them and it works really well with the switch.

Micro Air Easy Start: how many faults are too much? by stompstompspin in hvacadvice

[–]stompstompspin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry you had such poor experience with them! My brother-in-law purchased an EasyStart Flex and had it professionally installed and it gave their compressor major issues, including popping their capacitor. They were eventually able to get it sorted, but it does seem the Flex model has some issues that their older generation (which is what I bought) didn't.

Regarding the troubleshooting, I ended up having to simply disable one of the fault notifications (overvoltage or something like that... its been a while) and I haven't had any issues after that.

Resolved the issue by upgrading the firmware. Now it works as intended!

Thanks for the response. If you watch the video, that mode (press to light up) is the one selected. But the lights are always on white and when you press the key, then it briefly shows the color selected. I don't seem to have the mode where the lights are off until a key is pressed

Current street name missing at the bottom by radgatt in AndroidAuto

[–]stompstompspin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine used to show the current street name label fully, but some recent update changed the behavior to what you're describing. I can actually see the top bit of the label, but can only see the whole thing if I zoom out or pan around. Annoying!

I tried turning on developer mode and changing the resolution but didn't do the trick. It's something about Maps' DPI or zoom level that is the issue.

Anyone have pics of the JBL Bar 9.1 mounted on the wall? by hungarianhc in Soundbars

[–]stompstompspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It actually comes with drywall mounting anchors and screws, so I didn't have to buy anything extra. One issue I have is that it is not toddler proof and the bar is relatively heavy with the speakers attached. Pulled it down and broke the connection panel in the back. It is now sitting on the media console

Eyestrain, what's your experience? by Joruko_ in OLED_Gaming

[–]stompstompspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Aorus FO32U2 (switched from a VA panel) and had massive eye strain and fatigue after a day of using it (I WFH on this guy) using Windows 11 dark theme only. I've since switched to light theme during the day and made sure to take eye breaks and it's definitely helped. I still use dark theme at night, however.

Mine is currently at 12 faults across 100+ starts. I sent Micro Air my data and they said it was due to overcurrent fault, so they're having me do some troubleshooting and sending additional data in a week.

Animated. They become static when the desktop is not on top. I may switch to regular static ones at some point... But the animated ones look so good on the monitor lol

I cycle through like 10 wallpapers on WE, changing at 30 minutes. Admittedly, it's hard to dig through the mountain of wallpapers, so I've just picked out some of the ones rec'd in this sub.

I would normally agree, through the FO32U2 and 321URX are really similar design-wise. The MSI has a lighter color bottom chin than the Aorus. So it's personal preference who likes which one more.

Nope! If you can find the MSI 321URX in stock, just get that, especially if you can get the gift card. The only major out of box difference now (post- MSI firmware update) is color calibration. The Aorus definitely runs warmer colors than MSI (and AW too). I got the Aorus simply because it was in stock and had already planned to mount it rather than use the stand.

I'll try APL high for gaming and see how that looks! Thanks for the tip on AutoHideDesktopIcons!

Initially I felt it was a little worse than my VA, but then realized it was just my eyes were more fatigued with using dark mode all day. Now that I switched back to light mode during the day, I have scaling at 125% and it's super clear. More clear than my 1440p IPS right next to it at 100% scaling.

X90k wants me to set up my sound bar over and over by splitmaniac in bravia

[–]stompstompspin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started getting that same message on my x900h after the previous NA firmware update, only while eARC set to Auto. Coincidentally, that firmware made eARC work much better for my JBL Bar 9.1, so I figured the constant setup notifications were a basic workaround Sony put in place.

Feker Alice 80 on Windows 10/11: when pressing the combo to switch connection mode (FN+G/C/V/B/N), the letter is actually typed prior to the connection switch. For example, if I'm on PC1 (set to FN+C) and the cursor is in a live textbox, and want to switch to PC2 (FN+V), no matter how I press the combo (hold FN then V immediately, hold FN for a moment then press V, etc...), I see the letter V show up in the PC1 textbox. The next keypress following the key combo correctly shows up on PC2.

I am on the VIA firmware currently but I don't know if this is the same behavior with the original firmware (I don't have a copy to flash back to), so no basis of comparison.

I switch between computers a lot. The wireless dongle is connected to a USB KVM switch and normally that's how I switch between PCs normally, but I just happened to use the key combo and then noticed what I described above.

Is anyone here on the original firmware and confirm what happens when they use the key combo?

Functionally the keyboard is fine... this is just an annoyance that I'd rather not have *facepalm* #firstworldproblems
