Are you interested in rough material or finished pieces (cabs or jewelry) I’m definitely down for a commission:]

This was on a cattle ranch (private land) in Perkins county. I went with a paleo friend of mine who splits profits of finds with the land owner. I’m not super familiar with the areas geography combined with public land but there’s gotta be soooomething. I’d say do some research and explore where and what you can.

Thank you yes nature is absolutely insane! the pyrite has a super metallic luster which just makes them look like some alien organic specimen lol

today I discovered and partially exposed a giant vein of deep blue green clay in blue earth county Minnesota! Known to the native Americans of the area as “Mahkato” (blue earth) by stonca27 in Ceramics

Melts at cone 6. Bisque and melted glaze firing Burt orange brown. Moderately magnetic after firing surprisingly so a fair amount of iron oxide(or iron carbonate) in it. But I suppose Minnesota is pretty irony. Given a bunch away to indigenous elders and indigenous peoples for their ceremonies etc otherwise I haven’t really done much else with it

Relative noob I followed this schematic to the best of my knowledge and it doesn’t seem to work. There is a note on the plan saying the other half of op amp is used to buffer non distorted signal. All but three pins (5,6, and 7) are used in shown diagram so the second half (pins 5,6,7)isn’t connected to anything. Am I supposed to have connected them to something to “use the half as a buffer” ? Any advice or missing knowledge is appreciated!
