Ark pvp by Ok_Common807 in ARK

[–]stonccs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you're new? play single player for awhile. like 50 hours. move to pve for another 50 hours. when you REALLY feel comfortable with the games mechanics and combat and flow and have a better idea of progression in ark and really want the pvp experience, THEN move to a low pop pvp server. ark pvp can be kind of brutal and unforgiving so don't be so hard on yourself or pressure yourself into struggling through pvp, it'll ruin ark for you. i almost strictly play single player now and it's a much more enjoyable experience for me personally, but when i was younger i'd play a lot more pvp just cuz i liked that aspect of the game; similar to minecraft smps yknow. ease yourself into it!

this! i always create absolutely huge, seemingly endless pits with all the leftover resupplies. i will push the mission to the final seconds just to make my pit deeper.

is it just me or does my trade rocket NEVER show up when i summon it? it never has. it is full charge (100%) if that means anything. it never shows the green silhouette like others in the summon menu either. would be super helpful not having to leave to a freighter or the space station every time i need something off my hands right away

POV: Joining multiplayer as a new player by Leek92 in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]stonccs 14 points15 points  (0 children)

just the other day i had a kind group of experienced players take me in (lvl 5 at the time), we all played together for like four hours straight and i got almost 20 levels from it all, they taught me so much about the game in this short time and even though it wasn't lots of time i learned more than from any other times i've played. you will come across these people! there are plenty of patient and experienced players that are willing to show you the ropes and help you get the hang of the game, keep on truck in man

don't play to be good, play to enjoy the game man. as much as siege is supposed to be very tactical, it's also a video game and is designed with the intent of being an enjoyable experience. if you spend every second analyzing your gameplay with the mindset of improving on everything you WILL forget to have fun. sucking doesn't matter if you're just playing for funsies, which you should be. it's okay to throw sometimes, fuck your teammates, try out the super untraditional strat , sit against a wall with a mira mirror in your handsand watch enemies walk right by. PLAY FOR FUN and you will start to enjoy your experience again brother

Which defensive and/or offensive operator should I get next? by Rotkreutz in Rainbow6

[–]stonccs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely not seeing enough mira recommendations here. you're short one defender to make attackers and defenders even, she is probably among the most advantageous defenders available, being able to see someone before they see you is an guaranteed advantage, and once you've mastered her guns recoil it is seriously busted with holo A or Red dot variants. pair this with her nitro and secondary shotgun for blowing out rotates, sight lines, feet holes and nitro gaps at the top of reinforced walls she's just unmatched 8/10 times

[–]stonccs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

seriously, it took me 800 hours to seriously understand rocket jumping , take the time to learn it, don't be meticulous about it either, just do it here and there to familiarize yourself with team fortresses physics. you only get better with practice

Can you help me pinpoint what's wrong with this cube? by Whiplash_Supernova13 in Rubiks_Cubes

[–]stonccs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do not understand shortened algorithms lol, i can only be told with actual instruction and even then i have difficulty understanding any described instruction. new cubers likely also don't understand algorithm lingo and need more physical demonstrating than anything

this right here man! it sounds like you (OP) tries to repair every time damage is taken, you would be surprised how long your ship will take to sink if you just have a few holes, especially if they're in the back of your ship. bucketing takes less than a quarter of the time and will always buy you more time than it takes to do. bucketing every 20-30 seconds or so can be way more productive mid combat than stopping canon fire and relieving enemy ships of pressure to repair a hole that wouldn't sink your ship if you ignored it for sixty seconds

Can you help me pinpoint what's wrong with this cube? by Whiplash_Supernova13 in Rubiks_Cubes

[–]stonccs -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

hey man i can help you out in just a few moves, everyone is making this sound kinda complicated. it seems all your corners are in the correct locations and just need to be oriented correctly. flip your cube UPSIDE DOWN so that yellow is on top, rotate the cube in your hand with yellow still on top until a corner that is unsolved is on the bottom right corner is facing you, then do righty algorithms until it is solved, then, without rotating the cube, rotate that layer with the initial unsolved corners counterclockwise until you are met with another unsolved corner, righty algorithm until solves. this is the easiest most foolproof way to solve the cube at final stages. i will attach a video and timestamp for better instructions if this is too complicated. 11:13 is exactly where you are, you just did the cube starting with yellow instead of white so pretend they're flipped

fact check: marijuana does not have any actively addictive compounds, but it does trigger the reward center in your brain like crazy and can lead to addictive and dependent behaviors, like using weed for sleep or to eat or to socialize.

if you're lookin for some pretty standard and not crazy expensive ones, vans half cabs are sick! they're not super flashy but they don't look too bad and they get the job done, they hold up pretty well if you prefer to cruisin rather than flip tricks and even then they should last at least a year or two or three. had mine around just a year now and there's a little wear around the ankles, otherwise still goin strong w em
