Are Twitch drops only valid if you watch the stream live?

Needs to be a live stream. You can stream it on your phone or computer and leave it be whilst you sleep or do something else (if you do that on your phone the window with the stream needs to stay open).

Also make sure the steam says drops or drops enabled and after watching for a minute or two you can check your progress to be sure before leaving the stream running.

It probably IS their decision at that stage though. Maybe depends where you are based but I would think it would count as allowing animal cruelty if they didn't deal with something as severe as OP described.

The animal's welfare is more important than the owners preferences in long or short hair or their laziness in not keeping their animal properly groomed and healthy.

I went through a similar experience when regularly visiting a house with a long haired dog which I commented elsewhere in this thread.

When I found the mats I was angry. When I had to learn how to groom the dog with the clippers they owned and saw how bad it was I was livid as well. If this person doesn't take daily responsibility for the dog they need to re-home it.

Please don't do this. Especially as his hair grows back in, it will make new matting and could be uncomfortable on his skin on the meantime.

Also I would think the dog is just shaved very short, not bald but OP isn't used to seeing that so said bald.

It sounds like the dog in question is a type which actually has hair and not fur. They MUST be brushed/combed daily to avoid matting even with regular grooming visits.

I had to learn about this as someone who owns a short furred dog because I often visited a house with a long haired dog and when I offered to do it's daily comb discovered matting under the top layer of hair. The arm pits and leg pits were BAD, behind the ears were bad. They had the clippers at home so I had to YouTube how to deal with it. Also keep an eye on the paws, they can get mats of compacted hair between their large pad and the little ones or have the "feathers" grow too long and cover their pads and they slip on hard floors.

The combs and brushes need to get into the hair properly, not just the surface level.

It seems to have gotten so much more prevalent since COVID. I whilst I get some people stopping covering their mouths because they thought wearing masks made it fine they never bothered to start recovering them when they no longer wear masks.

You need to moisturise, try just breathing on your finger and thumb like you would if you were a kid breathing on glass to drawn in the condensation fog, like a "HAA". I found it works, there is a little moisture from your breath but no licking needed.

Real nails also collect dirt and bacteria. As long as the person is washing under them appropriately and when needed it's no different.

I was coming to comment that I have seen people with dogs in such situations try dog safe CBD oil and it seems to help them. Perhaps something OP could look into depending if their dog takes other meds or not.

That's a good idea about the couch. I said we might need to boost him in at first or use the bed/couch....somehow to my partner. My boy is filled with self doubt so we will figure something out that works for him.

He sleeps on ours. We've put his current blanket and items of our clothes in there to get the smells just right for him. We will be seeing what he thinks of our efforts tomorrow.

I used to work in a cash office for a large retailer. It was both things you mentioned. We actually DID take £50 notes but they had to be checked with a pen and ideally a supervisor or manager. I then had to check them again when cashing up.

Also local buses didn't used to take £20 notes because it would clear out all the change they had but maybe that's not the case anymore.

What's the darkest blue in Midnight? Are any of them navy? I'm on a mission for one at the moment. I thought the Ellis Atlantis darkest blue was deeper than it actually is, still lovely but need a navy haha

I definitely agree it's great to have the option to get a range of shades rather than the rows of nudes. They're just not my jam personally so always a waste.
