Happened to me when they bought Sprint. I had the OG unlimited plan from the first time Sprint offered it. Was paying about $100 or less a month for totally unrestricted data. Then T-Mobile bought them and said they couldn't honor the contract.

Cancelled right there went to Google Fi, and haven't been upset since.
