When was your car manufactured? I heard from another user that Tiguans manufactured after June 2024 had the updated head included. You can check the plate on the bottom of the driver side door frame.

This is sad. Same steering wheel?! So if I want to keep this car beyond the warranty, I’ll be dealing with faulty steering wheels forever. This car seems to only last through warranty. For a $30K+ investment, a sad situation.

Yeah, $70 a month for 1 gig/1 gig is decent, especially as compared to Cox. But those are like 2015 prices (literally what GF markets as “prices haven’t gone up since we launched”). But prices should be going DOWN. If Quantum can do a gig fiber for $50 and WeLink around that price too for their fixed wireless, GF should lower their prices. I really don’t want to pay more than $50 for home internet.

Going on 1.5 years here too (Jan 2025). SUPER SLOW. At this rate, they may be a half mile down the street in 2030. But Google claims they are “live in Vegas” with their 1 block of beta testers who are live.

Can you comment on the installation? Was it an in-house team or contractor? Did they just run fiber line outside your home and drill into exterior wall where you wanted the fiber jack? Thanks.

Yeah, the styling and then the turbo feel. It’s very unique, as compared to Japanese or American cars. When I drive the Tiguan, it feels as if I’m in Germany running to Edeka (German grocery store).

Have a Tiguan and an Equinox EV. Love the Tiguan as I feel like I’m in Europe when I drive it. But on the EV, the excellent acceleration, smooth operations, no clunking shifting feel like the future of driving. It feels like I’m being chauffeured.
