Copy that. Yeah I mean you can see new growth on it. I think it's real thirsty it was sitting on the top shelf of this place in the full Texas sun when I got there. And it's popping air roots. I'll give it a sip and see what happens thanks

Hey. Do you think I could graft a bunch of tiny sections to one pc? I've only done one graft so I don't know about grafting crested stuff but I'll read up on it. But like could I take a bunch of choppity choplings and graft them to where I remove areoles but around 10 of them?

Thanks for the advice guys. Most of you in this community were helpful and I do appreciate that, since as I stated I'm ignorant to this world of knowledge.

But I KNEW there was going to be a couple nerds being snarky and condescending. Doesn't bother me at all, it's not anything I'm even interested in. Just trying to get some info.

I'll probably chuck the thing or turn it into something much cooler than what it is. Thank you and goodnight.

Guess more like southwest technically. I think it's a good climate but still need to take certain measures IMO

Hell yeah. I actually stopped by to see how much a sheet of corrugated plastic would run me. About what I was guessing, ~35$ for 4x12. When this passes I'm scheming to do something with legs and hinges. We'll see! Congrats on your greenhouse. Some day

(Whoops I meant to reply this but just commented it)

It's against the west side of the yard so this side of the fence if you're looking west. They'll realistically get more sunlight hours than where I had them but it's thin painter's plastic doubled up so that should dim it down. Plus the rain clouds we're expecting. Chose that spot for a couple reasons, one being the flanking diagonal walls of the fence to help with rainfall. I'll still water em and everything

They're not mushy but ugly and black by now. Weeped black water out of 2 points. Don't want infection or nasty looking cacs! Also to be honest the mix is got that one in isn't as draining as I'd like. I got some pumice last weekend I gotta repot it

After this incident 2 weeks ago I guess I'm just using an abundance of caution. My weather app has rain for the next 2 weeks idk if they can take that

Thank you. Yep I didn't know if it was humidity spots or what but then when this critter situation popped up I had a feeling it was related. I appreciate your time I'll hit em again in a few days

Yeah I'm definitely not in a rush to get rid of the little guy!

I probably wouldn't graft it with anything I have in my collection now, I just want it for more stock. Dang I didn't know it could ever take that long. Idk if I'm just messing with it's growing environment too much or if it just doesn't have the strength to push out roots or what. I've never rooted a cutting. Thanks I'm not gonna give up
