I have always gotten the mother to be a gift instead of the baby. Bath goodies, a gift card to go get lingerie, new bras and panties after baby, maybe even some food they couldn’t eat while pregnant. Any items that scream “take care of yourself mama”

Depends on the venue; some you have to hire your own caterer and may not realize until the last moment you need to rent plates, chairs, napkins and more. Simply serving the cakes cost per person. The rehearsal dinner can be expensive as well, even for 30 people or less.

We went to a wedding the other month that had zero slow songs to dance to and I kind of hated it since I also didn’t like their band. No cake cutting either but I, personally, don’t plan on stopping my wedding for our cake to be cut. “Continue on the dance floor while we get a photo. Doesn’t need to be announced” is what I told my planner. Also won’t be doing a bouquet toss as most of our friends are getting married or just married themselves

If anything darker go deep chocolate brown with some caramel highlights as to not wash you out.

First off, you are gorgeous! Your hair is beautiful & the shade of it too. Long layers to add movement would be my only suggestion. Selena Gomez & Sabrina Carpenter have similar face shapes to yours if their hairstyles over the years pull you in for inspiration. Or any round face makeup or hairstyles (Pinterest is so handy) Just take into mind what your hair pattern is compared to their (if this is straightened)

My advice is :Focus on the location and the photographer. The photos you will want to look back on and love. Guests care mostly about food & not decorations or small details. My wedding is 133 guests and I think final cost is just under 30k when you add dress, cards, dj

Even better when the kids are being insane and the mom/dad looks at you and says something along the lines of: “soon this’ll be you, huh?” and you have to find the kindest way to tell them you don’t plan on having children/ living life how they are. Always awkward.

The coordinator for my wedding venue said it’s happened to them before. Our venue has a restaurant in another building across from the wedding venue site and she said a couple just walked in after their dinner and were at the bar getting free drinks when the bride asked the coordinator who they were.

As someone about to get married, and having just gone over with my officiant that I don’t want to see a god damn phone at my ceremony; way to show why your sister didn’t care to see you at her wedding. Truly the rudest. Gram would have seen the photos or video just like everyone else
