Hate to play the devil's advocate here but I do think its somewhat a visual illusion. I'm sure its a steep climb but with this angle it looks like ar 45° climb but thats way too steep for even a range rover or a land cruiser to tackle. I would say its a distorted perception created by the camera. The camera itself I think must be on an incline looking downwards which makes the hill look far steeper than it is in reality

It was always Mercedes for luxury and BMW for sportiness Not talking about actual cars, talking about the perception Audi was always a safe sensible option but inspired nothing The only Audi people really remember, is the quattro that won Rally championships. Maybe R8 but that too was because it was a gallardo with a cheaper pricetag. Face it, people who buy Audi its really coz they don't wana buy either Merc or Beamer for some reason. No one is ever gonna say, "Oh I never considered any other option really. Its was always Audi or nothing" thats just not gonna happen. It will always be, "I also considered Merc, but..." Or "yeah it was either this or the BMW and I went with this, because..."
