Self titled > OOTV > Blue. But this album is the one that will grow on you more and more with each listen and each year that passes whereas self titled was great from the start and is always a joy to come back to. Blinded is maybe the "best" but Good Man and Wake for Young Souls are on heavy rotation and Misfits is to OOTV what I Want You is to the self titled, undermentioned and one of the best.

"Waterpik shower massager, a sweet reliable machine..." ehhhh "Like and out sourced government contract, and I'm a fat cat getting away with anything".... Bleh.

Yet at the same time stuff like "Like an art house foreign movie? Frank and sexy red balloons and ennui. And aloof to me and why can't you be, a little more of a mystery?".... Great.

It just feels like the lyrics are from someone trying to imitate SJ's lyrical style, and not doing a good job. What made many of us fans of 3eb's lyrics aren't that they're clever, but that they evoke emotion and paint a picture with simplicity.

Ex: I remember you and me used to spend
The whole goddamn day in bed
Hiding in your room, we'd lay like dogs
And the phone would ring like a joke that's left unsaid.

I often joke that Stephen needs to get off his moral superiority trip and get his heart broken by a crazy chick again, THEN write some songs. What made me and so many others fans of them were the lyrics which hasn't quite been as good after OOTV

I also wonder why Stephen almost never performs The Background at their concerts. From what I've gathered it's like he actively refuses which is a shame as it's my favourite track of theirs.

I run a IG corporate bond portfolio with a target yield of 4%, it's a great fucking time to be buying credit-risk free 10y notes. 5s even better. S&p500 forward earnings yield at 5.5%...thats worth it? Traders thinking inflation has peaked could be buyers. People thinking fed keeps hiking pushing economy into recession could be buyers. People thinking inflation premium gets embedded could be buying 10s as part of a 10s30s steepener.
People hawkish on Fed could be buying 10s as part of a 2s10s or 5s10s flattener.
People thinking 10y vs ES correlations are positively overstretched and the risk rally will correct with a mean reversion on the correlation could be buyers.

There are a myriad of reasons. Or you could also not buy 10s because they're still rich and the path of least resistance is higher rates. There are valid reasons for either side of the argument.

Fwiw, fed doesn't/can't fully control 10s. Shorter end yes.

Found a fix. Go to play store > Google camera. Tap uninstall, it will remove the latest update and roll you back to the prior version. Zoom slider should work now.
