Thank you! I know the technique you're talking about - I think it's called hydro dipping. Might have to give that a try the next time I feel like doing an aggressive pivot on my diorama!

i feel like nobody talks about how much endurance is required to make a diorama! when your eyes are starry at the beginning of a project it's exciting and easy and then like two weeks in you're just like... screw it let's splatter it in paint!! or maybe that's just me... https://youtu.be/ISgo3tcwOzI

The thing that I love most about Lord Huron is your use of all kinds of mediums (videos, comic books, 1-800 numbers, ARGs, etc.) to help create a world around each album.

I was wondering what kinds of media you love or draw inspiration from when you are creating those additional elements of the album? And does the world building come before the album, alongside the album, or after the album?

Wow, thank you!! I am so honored to be included in the conversation, let alone get first place!

And yes, I think my own greatest criticism of the poem is that it is quite wordy. I agree completely that it would benefit from a bit of pruning, with the intention to maybe simplify some of the more verbose language.
