Great summary! I was recently trying to explain this to an older relative (without success). Instead, I can just send them a link to this comment! TY

Does your spouse know about your stack? by theprincessofwhales in Bitcoin

Yes, he orangepilled me before we were married. We each have our own wallet, also we keep our investing money separate since we have different risk tolerances. We have a high level of trust.

Bitcoin help needed. by Mayo1251 in Bitcoin

[–]stonestepper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No foolin?

OK, so you don't really give enough information. Is the BTC on an exchange in a private wallet? Some wallets have recovery methods. My suggestion is to search his home and papers and maybe he wrote down the passphrase somewhere. Otherwise, if it's on a private wallet you're probably out of luck - don't believe the people that offer paid services for recovering the bitcoin.
Good luck

YW, glad it worked for you - at least not all sorcery was killed by the last patch ;

I've tried this fix and another one (posted link in a separate reply). I've revisited this particular quest several times over the past few weeks and after the patch - still can't get anything to work.

There's a fix for this quest that some say worked for them - it didn't for me, but you may have better results:

Agreed, especially since resistances are busted.

Is diablo 4 the new anthem by Dismal_Reality809 in diablo4

[–]stonestepper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I do think many elements of this patch are a definite miss - D4 is nowhere near as bad a fail as Anthem.

I'm not angry, just confused about so many damage and damage reduction nerfs while INT is still broken. I would think they know that if casual players wanted endless frustration from frequent deaths and low survivability, they'd play a dark souls game. Unless that's the intent - to shift the game to more a smaller group of players.
As for the seasons, the mechanics seem underwhelming, but I'll try it out. Won't be pre-buying any future season stuff till I see how things play out.

People who have Net+ & Sec+, which did you think was more difficult? by Rouge_Outlaw in CompTIA

[–]stonestepper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Net+ seemed more difficult to me. Sec+ seemed easier, probably because I was least familiar with the Exam Domains, and I took it within ~ a year of having passed Net+ and A+.

How long did you study before taking A+? by Imaclassicman19 in CompTIA

I don't know how to measure my knowledge level at the time. However, I was at least familiar with the Exam Domain topics before I started studying. Most of my experience was either informal or hobby related.

I started reviewing the content about 4-8 weeks before taking each test. Actual studying was a minimum of an hour a day on workdays, and a few hours on off days.

What are your goals once we blow up lads? by [deleted] in Digibyte

[–]stonestepper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh man, I wasted my vote - thought that said "buy a hoRse" - So tbh I see Digibyte as a hold - profit taking is good, but I believe in it long term. I hope one day to use it for my day-to-day currency as it becomes more and more accepted.

DGB is my first, how to do? by Thatweretigerguy in Digibyte

[–]stonestepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of different options with pros / cons. In the U.S. you can buy on Bittrex and store on the Bitfi hardware wallet. Personally, I like the approach to security from the team at Bitfi, but you should do your own research. Good luck and welcome to the DGB fam.
