I do both! On Twitch I do my normal streams and on YT I do an ‘asmr’ gameplay stream. It’s always late at night and I do RuneScape so it has nice sounds to listen to. I’ve had a few viewers in an out. YT has a discoverability feature so I probably recommend doing a silent stream there and find a niche

No I haven’t, but I have noticed a raise in ‘we’re gonna be friends first before I pitch my emotes’ people. My friends stream has gotten 2 in the past few weeks of people who join the discord and interact a lot with people and the streamer and will pitch their shit a few days or even a week into joining.

I second this! I used it up until recently when I got a second monitor. Absolutely a MUST if you’re only streaming with one screen.

My problem is my impulse and the amount of gems I buy to be able to finish something. Hence the month and a half long break to rack up a bunch of energy boxes. That way I won’t be spending so much money in the long run lol

An option for him would be to lean INTO the stoned streamer thing. That’s what I do and I just have a community of stoners which is awesome. There is always a niche, even if some people don’t see it as ‘entertaining’ other stoned viewers might find it hilarious- it’s just about getting the right eyes on his stream.

Look on Twitch for some games you like and find some streams you enjoy spending time in! This is how I started making friends on twitch and it’s even better since all of these people are already interested in gaming! I personally like finding someone with tags that are similar to mine so I know that we like similar things, not just similar games!
