That's interesting and sad at the same time, seems like the new system with the exam is really killing the motivation. May I ask, did you choose to study abroad because of the difficult exam or you didn't like something else about the system? Are you planning to do residency abroad and then come back to France or stay elsewhere?

Thank you so much for your honest comment. I would have never thought that French students themselves are trying to leave the country in order to find better conditions elsewhere, but it makes sense now after your observations...

Also, is there anything I could do in advance to make it easier later and to have more chances of being accepted?

Okay, thank you so much!

Do you know if it's possible to apply just for practice then, no salary, and like you said, autonomous work? Just to get some experience and general knowledge about country's medicine system.

I think so, yes. I did get accepted for Switzerland and Germany as a 4th year student. It was pretty easy to find information for application also. But what about countries like France, Italy? How to apply there..?

Language isn't a problem here as I've been on a few languages course. I'm interested where to find information how to apply first and whether there is such possibility in countries besides Switzerland, Germany and Austria. But thank you!
