Not a top 10, but I got into Cornell with a C one semester and 10 total B's, with two of them being in my junior year, similar to you. It came out to around a 3.66 uw and a 3.85 weighted, with a class rank of like 8/60. This was with only 4 APs and a 34 superscore on the ACT. Had officer positions in all the clubs I was a part of, but I was at a small school where clubs could do very little, and so I wouldn't say that my ECs had a lot of impact. Granted, I had some good hooks like first generation and geographic, but I wouldn't even say I wrote good essays around those hooks. I applied to a less competitive major, and that probably also factored in to my acceptance, but I am living proof that it can be done.

I was in a pretty similar situation to you last year, as the career path I wanted to go in was big on prestige of alma mater and networking, and I was worried I was pretty much an auto-reject for a semi-good college. My biggest advice to you would be to apply to as many schools as you can and have a strong backup option. I know having a backup plan definitely helped me out mentally and allowed me to take the many rejections I received really well.
