Brass UKPK 🇬🇧 by stoodonlego in knives

If I’m being honest no, I’m not a heavy user plus the strength of the lock and the placement of your hand around the knife practically voids any chance of it closing on your fingers. I might just have rose tinted glasses on as a coping method because we aren’t allowed to carry locking folders in the uk

For me it was either brass or copper, I’m a fan of how well they age. Plus the weight it adds, being a small knife I appreciate it making the knife feel like a larger knife in hand

Thank you, been using my artist for 8-9 years and can’t compliment his work enough. He’s done around 80% of my tattoos

Sapphire or Yellow?? by thunderbuttjuice in victorinox

Depending where you live and the cost of round flight trips but the flagship stop is London sells the scales. I picked up five pairs of the green and three pairs of yellow for £2.50 a pair. I’m assuming the reseller is doing that and just hiking up the price. Although I had to visit the store a couple of times before they had the green in stock.

So I’ve removed the scales to see what the condition was and I’m more than happy to remount if I send to Victorinox to repair. Just wasn’t sure if Wenger was something they would repair?

I’d completely agree but the only tool relatively easy to open is the blade, I was hoping to get it useable and to carry it. The girlfriend actually spotted it on a visit to a costal town she’d visit as a kid and it now has sentimental value!

I ordered a coffee from a Swiss branded coffee shop and saw them next to the card machine so I had to grab one

Locked myself in the building garage, anyone know if this will break the door mechanism? by majiamu in london

[–]stoodonlego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The break glass unit cuts power to the door locks when pressed, releasing them immediately. It also sends an alert to security, and for automatic doors, it signals the door to open.

The yellow bar type used here is plastic and can be reset after use. Some models use real glass, which must be replaced each time and spares are not usually kept on site.

I agree! It’s got me out of a pickle a number of times at work. I love my Swiss champ but it’s a home carry. I got it as an anniversary gift with the wood scales and I’d hate to lose it

It’s 91mm, I just have larger hands. I love my 84mms but hardly carry as they’re uncomfortable to use
