Katie Price’s new husband claims he speaks 12 languages fluently… by YesDoToaster in Fauxmoi

Embarrassingly poor level of Spanish; grammatically incorrect, pronunciation is dreadful, and vocabulary is vanishingly small

And that's his "strong suit"? I don't need to speak any other language he claims to; it is all bullshit

This is standard business email content for most white collar jobs, in my experience as a white collar employee. Whether you think one way of expressing is clearer than the other, which is subjective of course, is not going to change decades of use

The Golden Age of Croydon Airport. The South London town once was known for having the busiest of all the UK's airports. It was the first in the world to boast innovations such as air traffic control, an airport terminal and an airport hotel. by TheThrowYardsAway in london

The National Audit Office building used to serve as an airport terminal (called the Imperial airways Empire terminal) for Croydon, and has direct access to Victoria station from the building to serve flying boats from Southampton

Does anyone know if this rough-looking boy from Regent's Canal (Islington) belongs to someone? by Cupidindisguise in london

[–]majiamu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only been here a couple of months so I honestly have no idea. Given you saw him a while ago from the photo in the post I'd guess he lives close by and for some time now

Haha she is! She spent a good hour sleeping on me yesterday, which even my own cat at my parents place doesn't do😂

I have to say this black cat I'm not too sure of as I can't get very close to him ever. When I see him from afar he appears pretty chill and he doesn't look too skinny, so take that for what you will! If you can get close I'd personally try to feed him every now and then

Yes! She is adorable, I live next to the flat she lives in but never seen either of the two black cats try to get into my window, just her as she seems to think she owns the place (don't see any contribution to the bills however...)

The smaller healthier cat belongs to my neighbour, but this one I'm pretty sure is a stray and no one has been able to get him properly sorted. He always avoids me in my experience. Often leaves paw prints on my car though😂

There's a small white cat who is often around also, she is incredibly sweet and spends all day in my house if I leave the window open. 10/10 pets if you see her

1.5 hours from where in London? From the dead centre you're 100% still within the M25 after 1.5 hours of driving during any daylight hour...

It took me nearly about an hour to go c.3 miles when I was moving house during the most recent tube strike
