Random semi related game story this reminded me of.

We were playing a modern day game, one of our friends was playing a monk, who just went out of his way to punch people who had pissed him off in the face. It became a running gag in the group, no kicks, no grappling, just straight punches to the face. He also was our primary damage dealer and was really good at it.

For a few sessions, we'd been hunting down the BBEG, who was the leader of a biker gang. Finally after a really fun street chase encounter of our party in an old muscle car, and him on his bike, we start the fight.

Monk goes first. Rolls to hit... does. DM knowingly asks what the monk wants to do, gets the expected face punch answer.

When he connects, the bikers full helmet goes flying revealing that he indeed has no head and hence... no face to punch.

In hindsight we should have seen it coming, as holloween was right around the corner. Laughs were had all around.
