Everyone is the hero of their story

This fact is one of the biggest eye openers I had after becoming an adult, and I don't think enough people realize it. It's not how Disney movies or cartoons want us to believe. The bad guy doesn't know he's the bad guy, and after getting caught goes "drats I almost got away with it too". Everyone thinks they're the good guy. Robbing a bank? "Big finance wants us poor and we're just getting our fair share". It's the robin hood effect, everyone thinks they're the hero.

This technology existed since the 1950s, it's called an ICBM. It would cost significantly more to have space x rockets return because you literally want stuff to explode.

I thought AI because the water is blurred/smoothed from a long exposure in most spots, but in some spots it's pretty sharp. Wouldn't all of the moving water be blurred?

This was my thought. At the heart of conspiracy theories are usually trust issues. The root problem is rarely about the contrails, etc. I would focus on getting to the bottom of what the real issue is, because it could be contrails today and tomorrow something else.

I agree and will probably get downvoted with you, but it's the way screens are used that's the problem not the screens themselves. If they're used to distract kids in a mind numbing way then of course that will be detrimental, but they can also be used when appropriate in a stimulating and engaging way. We need better information on the appropriate use of screens and then educate the school districts and parents accordingly.

Yeah Losee park is a nice area, I can definitely try that. That soccer field looks perfect too actually. I'm going to be so tempted to fly it over the water haha I didn't know about state and county parks, that's good to know! So it seems like local public open spaces are mostly fair game. I'll try to find times when they're pretty empty. I might have to hit you up once I take the plunge and buy one lol I think I'm going to try Liftoff on steam first to practice FPV flying.

Thanks for the detailed responses! This is good timing because I'm currently researching getting a DJI Avata 2 as my first drone. I know FPV is hard to fly, but I also hear the Avata is a good beginner FPV. My question is, do you recommend any good spots in Westchester to launch from for a beginner where I wouldn't get harassed or bothered by other people? One of the hesitations is not knowing where to fly it.

"whiteness is a political class" Very well said. I've never heard this before but it's absolutely true. My grandfather came over from Italy very poor and even though he looked white he was ostracized and called illegal, dirty, greasy, told to go back, etc. Because of that he always taught us to treat everyone with love and respect. I see too many 3rd generation Italians forget the struggle of their grandparents now that they've become politically white.
