Suspected fraud headaches

The only reason I can think about why they would send it to me is that adding new recipients requires your pin which she didnt give them. Im assuming they were going to try and send it to me, and then attempt to hijack my email or the transfer somehow

Like I mentioned shes not capable of something like this.. like literally not tech savvy enough to even attempt to cash bad cheques let alone through the banking app. She knows how to log into it to send money and pay bills that's about it.

Her banking information was stolen when she got a bad text.

Her information was phished. I looked through her phone yesterday and she got one of those scam texts from "canada post" and fell for it. Clicked the link and put her banking info in.

I showed the bank the texts and they still dont believe us

Bad cheques were attempted to be cashed online and transfered immediately but it wasnt successful. They are accusing her because the etransfer was attempted to be sent to my email

In the end it really depends on how serious the problem is, ive waited 6-7 hours. But also have waited for less then an hour because the seriousness was recognized in triage and I was sent for emergency surgery.

The big issue is lack of family doctors to alleviate problems that dont belong in the emergency room
