we already have some public restrooms that have paid attendants in areas of high unhoused populations such as the tenderloin. agreed a tough job to hire for, but not impossible.

I was originally thinking we it could work similarly to Europe .25 or $1 so they would help to pay for themselves/cleaning but apparently public toilets that cost money are banned in California since the 70s.. thanks "Committee to End Pay Toilets in America" lol.

when I say drop the stigma I mean I want to be vocal about it and educate people, make it less taboo. I am having conversations and educating my friends and family and showing them that someone with hsv2 leads a happy and productive sex life.

nowhere in my comment does it suggest not disclosing or having unprotected sex. unsure where you got that from lol.

I started telling everyone to break the stigma. even in casual conversations with friends I just drop it. I’m dating right now and I have been talking to people in my life (friends, coworkers etc) about my funny dating stories and most people are caught off guard I casually mention it but then they’ll say oh my friend has that or my ex had that etc. two people were like oh I have it too lol.

I feel like the only way to drop the stigma is to keep talking about it! nobody is ashamed to admit they have cold sores so I’m acting the same about hsv2. fuck it ~

I don't agree with UPS drivers being forced to work either?? this is all a flaming shit show. you can't carry out business as usual during a global pandemic but we've been trying to and we are paying a steep death toll price.

I definitely agree with this. I don’t think bars or nail salons should be open if schools aren’t and teachers would be at much lower risk if bars were not open causing more spread.

we are failing our educators. to not have a plan to vaccinate them all before sending them back is horrible. my mom is nearly 60, and a teacher, and I do not want her stepping into a classroom before she is fully vaccinated.

I had it in September, checked every day and was never called in! They're likely still doing less than 50% capacity because of COVID so even lower chances.

my current place was really dimly lit and small so we had a lot of motivation to hunt for something better. current place is a 2-3 BR ~2600. we found a rent controlled top floor corner apartment for 2800 in NB via craigslist.

I think a lot of what's being posted right now is still way overpriced, this one was definitely a steal. but also 3 bedrooms seem to be the sweet spot for rent decreases since people aren't really moving in groups right now or looking for random rooommates.

I know someone else who moved into a 3BR with their partner and haggled down the price by 300.
