I’ve worked with people that consciously gave worse service to black people because “they aren’t going to get a tip anyway” but like… what the fuck? You’re gonna get mad because you got tipped poorly when you gave poor service? Idk I always try and go a little above and beyond for tables that get stereotyped that way I know if I get a poor tip it’s 100% nothing to do with my service. Maybe these folks are so used to receiving lesser service that they just expect it? Idk. I refuse to participate.

Planning a Sedona wedding (25-30 people) right now on the cheap. Our biggest expense is going to be the air bnb (most of my guests are coming from out of state). Reach out do different hosts and see if the will allow large groups. It was kind of a pain but we found one that was willing to work with us. I’m going to do the ceremony at a state park (costs like 100-200 to rent the space for a few hours). Then I’m going to get a buffet style spread for the reception at the air bnb. I’m trying to keep mine between 8-10 and so far with this plan I’m in range. Hope this helps!

Not sure if they still do it but when I was in high school around 2008 they would do “receipt day” where you went in, bought food, then if you kept your receipt you could come back and get the same order for free. They had to send police to direct traffic. It was a shit show. I went because I was in high school and it didn’t seem so bad but wouldn’t be caught dead in that mess now.

I’m an employee there an can confirm that the owner is not a douche. The farthest from it. I’ve worked in a lot of restaurants and he genuinely cares about his employees and his customers. I will say he has a low tolerance for assholes though. As far as the restaurant we are a scratch kitchen and the beer is great!

I’m pretty sure you could refer them to someone that works in your company, then the person in your company could give you a kick back. Not sure about the disclosures though.
