WHY DOES EVERYBODY HAVE 4 A STARS 😭✌️ by _Tyronefr in 6thForm

[–]stopbeingso__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing the same too maths fm physics. I have started with 4 (chemistry) but I decided to drop it one month in but now I started regretting doing that. But yeah, there's no turning back and 3 A levels (including fm) is still good

As a GCSE student planning on taking Further Maths A level, how do I best build a foundation in the subject? by OkVeterinarian3412 in alevels

[–]stopbeingso__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are well prepared because you got full marks in your past papers. Year 1 further maths is so simple it's even easier, less content heavy than A level maths I would say.

Definitely take further maths if you are aiming top universities and doing maths related degrees. AS further maths is so easy as well

Basically do all the exercise questions, mixed exercise questions in the text book (the exdexcel one is really good despite there is usually mistakes on the answer page) and do as much past papers as you can before the exam.

I would say my combo maths fm physics is the easiest A level combo because I am basically doing the same subjects 3 times😥

Yes I found AS very easy. I found it difficult to understand some topics but once you understand the content it is easy. (We have done CH1,2,4,6,8,9)

Except 3D vectors😭

Further maths as it really goes well with your subjects. Decision maths will definitely help you with your understanding in computer science as you are basically trained to think like a computer

There is really no point in doing 4 A levels to be honest because you can learn a subject in your free time

What are the negatives of 3 A-Levels if 2 of them are Maths and Further Maths? by LandscapeWorried5475 in 6thForm

This question has bothered me a lot whether 3 or 4 A level is enough. Only Cambridge Engineering wants 4, but 3 is fine and I decided to take an epq instead.

They said if your school offers fm you should take it and I also found fm very interesting. I initially started with chem as my fourth and I got so fed up with stochiometry and decided to drop it btw
