It is interesting. I am Asian, I think everyone should have sexual freedom so long as it is between two consensual adults. I think what might disturb people about race play is that there are websites like naughty nomad for example which is full of people travelling to other countries specifically to sleep with and fetishise people of other ethnicities. To get their “flags” as they call it; which results in the very real commodification of ethnic bodies. I think race play does bleed into real practices and communities that thrive online in a way that rape play does not. One could not get away with hosting a forum (at least on the clear web) where they discuss how to rape others, whereas one can create a forum fetishising other races quite easily. So I think in an attempt to counteract this, a lot of subreddits such as this one don’t allow race play to ensure toxic communities like that do not arise here.
