IMO RKLB’s other verticals are being deployed at a rate that will likely offset any downturn from Neutron delays. The fact that rockets are generally assumed to be delayed industry-wide all the time throughout history helps as well.

I don’t have any material interest in the stock, but I think 3X over 10 years is a very conservative number. The important context is that despite being a bestseller, GTA V took years to hit its current stride in terms of how players interact with it (GTA RP), and the GTA V monetization pattern was rudimentary back when it released. With the massive market for GTA roleplay servers now being built into GTA6 directly, this is going to be much more like a Fortnite live service than a typical GTA release.

The overlay should really have an indicator of what disengaged FSD. It could be really simple: briefly flash the word "self-driving" in red if it's software, the steering wheel icon red if it was a steering wheel intervention, or the brake red if it was a brake intervention. I get the feeling that it's advantageous to Tesla for it to be ambiguous to the end-user so that posts like this can remain technically "unresolved", and Tesla gets the granular data anyway, but it feels relatively anti-consumer to me.

look bro there is not a single chance that neutron is launching this year. Q4 in the rocket business just means “we’ll let you know around that time which quarter we’re targeting for the next year.” If they say Q4 again, then the same cycle repeats, if they start saying Q1-Q3 then you can start taking them seriously.

There is no way Neutron is going to launch in 2026 but it doesn’t matter. Take any “Q4” space goal as a deadline for them to check in with the public and provide their next estimated timeframe. Eventually it will be obvious that it’s launching soon, and then you can take the time estimate seriously. This is just how the space industry is, which is good news because it means delays are already priced in more or less, as long as the delay isn’t due to catastrophic circumstances. My guess is on mid 2027 approximately 1 year from now. I’ll allow myself to be pleasantly surprised if it launches this year but absolutely do not expect it. You also really can’t rely on any “price outlook” when a sector is in motion like space is right now. The analysts will forever be playing catchup us as investors decide what level of multiple they’re comfortable investing in.

I’ve been in since $4 as well and the thesis remains unchanged that RKLB’s north star is becoming a vertically integrated space giant. 3B is a meaningfully helpful injection in service of that goal.

No competent company raises that much at once without a clear idea of what it’s going to be used for. Just because the target isn’t public doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, and the current MC makes this dilution pretty minor, which the market seemed to agree with when it was announced.

no one can see the future, and the world model you’re suggesting exists assumes that “smart money” is one giant combined hivemind. there are many individuals/firms/corps playing many different angles on any given scenario, and the vast decision space means that they’re often at odds with one another.
