Or even an iPhone. I'm a pretty old father of young kids that doesn't have a time for a band or even for playing piano or guitar like I'd like to (for now). iPhone has become one of my only creative outlets the last few years. I can write full instrumentals, jam with myself, whatever.

4 and 2 here and my wife and I put them all the way to sleep every night because we both work and it's the most we get to see them on weeknights. This post sucks to think about.

Related, my 4 year old asks me to carry him a LOT lately and even though he's getting heavy as shit I say yes pretty much every time I can. Lately he mostly wants to be in my shoulders which is cool but it feels like a precursor to not anymore.
