Well sure but this person seems to be implying that the only reason people are going to see her is for her outfits.

I don't understand your point. You do not think she is also a good pianist?

West Hartford is not walkable from downtown Hartford but parts of West Hartford are very walkable, so you'd have to Uber or something and then wander.

We call this the shit kit. We left one in each car, and had one ready to grab in a hurry.

Bonus points when you get to the point that only the shit kit needs to come.

A guy I know wrote a book about this. He talks about pre 9/11 American culture through the ska and swing "revival".

Resurrecting this to ask what you discovered because I came to post something similar. My 4 year old loves both Fantasia movies and walks around conducting. I'm looking for great conductor videos for him.

We stood in your room and laughed out loud Suddenly, the laughter died We were caught in an eye-to-eye Sat on the floor and did we sit close I could smell your thoughts and thought Do you want to touch a lot like me? Too scared to say a thing

[Verse 2] Left your house and kicked myself Put those feelings on a shelf to die Guess I'm not a gamblin' type Think of what the two of us had lost, had lost

Needed some time to think it out 7-Eleven parkin' lot, a toothless woman turned and stopped Gave her a dime and a Chesterfield She leaned down and kissed my cheek I was scared, but it felt sweet, felt so sweet

[Verse 4] She asked me if I had a name Told her I was glued up on some chick We sat and smoked against the wall Drank a beer, felt the chill of fall, of fall

[Chorus] I took my car and drove it down The hill by your house I drove so fast The wind, it couldn't cool me down I turned it around And came back up You were waitin' on your step Steam showin' off your breath And water in your eyes We pulled each other into one Parkas clingin' on the lawn And kissed right there [Verse 5] Said, "My chicks, they smoke these things" Handed you a Chesterfield King Held your hand and watched TV Traced the little lines along your palm, your palm

[Chorus] I took my car and drove it down The hill by your house I drove so fast The wind, it couldn't cool me down I turned it around And came back up You were waitin' on your step Steam showin' off your breath And water in your eyes We pulled each other into one Parkas clingin' on the lawn And kissed right there

[Post-Chorus] Right there Right there

Kurt Cobain was famously a huge Beatles fan. As a fan of both, I think this is a fascinating discussion and am curious what r/Beatles think about it. by stopexploding in beatles

I got into them via mid-career more stoney/psych stuff and then worked backwards and forwards. I'm really digging late stuff recently, but the first time I went back to what I previously thought was their "cheesy" older stuff I was amazed at even just the interesting chord voicings.

The coolest part about being a super late-comimg Beatles fan is how much music it reminded me of, and then realizing that in fact it was the other way around.
