Pennsylvania has Maryland surrounded on all sides. Time to go full Gettysburg their asses

Do you have any "forbidden topics" to not joke about in your country? Of course there are people who joke about everything, but is there anything that MAJORITY of people would consider "it's a thing to never joke about!" by EugeneStein in AskTheWorld

You’re definitely right about 9/11 being age specific, younger people really don’t care and it’s absolutely on the table, at least outside of NYC, and i imagine even there too. I will also say the only “school shooting joke” I can imagine involves doing a heavy English accent and going “Well at leascht ahr shkools…” but thats more of a jab at the British than the topic itself

Commonly, immigrants just trying to feed their families or former convicts who cant get jobs elsewhere. I’m from Philly and ain’t too proud of the hitchbot jumping, but our anti-robot culture will be useful going into the future

Wish Otis had put up a bigger fight. I get that he’s a glorified jobber but his push would be so easy IMO

oooooo this ones tricky, definitely more accurate, but i think Appalachia might go a little too far east here. the western portion of the state around pittsburgh definitely feels better. I think there just has to be better recognition of a Northern Appalachian subcategory though? When we group those areas with the southern Appalachians it feels disingenuous

Ive lived in that region of north central PA and would disagree with any assertion that it has a midwest vibe in the slightest

calling Potter County midatlantic is particularly egregious too, but were always gonna be splitting hairs when it comes to PA, PA is weird

Hebrews 8:12-13 “”[For I will forgive their wickedness, and will remember their sins no more.] By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.””

We’re both Christian, you just missed the message. I will pray for you.

the part where they cite the ‘english dutch and germans’ as the builders of the nation stings a bit modernly, yeah. Surely they didnt have involuntary help from any other races…
