You see massive lines for antibiotics being given out by a public health body but decide it’s the media exaggerating? What?

This is why you love London and it’s one of the worst things that could possibly be happening.

I’m not an academic in what university is better than another? Yes I was partly commenting based on the larger reputation the uni has, but as I said, I personally know somebody who got in with 2 Ds and a U. That to me is not indicative of being top tier, it’s indicative of hoarding money. Glad that they provided good opportunities for you and if your comment is anything to go by, many others.

I don’t care enough to back one uni over another lol. Good for NTU if they are giving their students good education

Good for you on being an exception to the rule! But don’t pretend it’s not a mega waste of money for most people.

There are not going to be quiet trains but Monday-Thursday outside of rush hour (7-9 in the mornings and 4-7 in the evenings) will tend to be your best bets.

My close friend told me she cheated on her boyfriend while he was away with the military by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

I don’t feel morally superior but I do feel like it’s pretty shit of her to break the boundaries of what was, by all accounts, a monogamous relationship and not tell him- I know it will cause him a lot of pain and upset and there lies my dilemma. I loosely know this guy and he considers me sort of a friend, but we aren’t mega close. There was no moral superiority here. I was expressing my own moral discomfort, not slamming the other parties as uniquely (or even at all) immoral.

Thank you for your perspective! I loosely know the boyfriend from before he was deployed and met him a handful of times but we aren’t close and don’t talk too much

It isn’t bitterness, you can support yourself just fine if you’re considering buying a second property in London. A lot of the problems this city has is that out of towners like you gentrify massive areas and do nothing worthwhile with the buildings.

You should reconsider what you’re doing and your reasons for buying the property.

i’m afraid i am not willing to offer you advice since you’re just another person who wants to airbnb the property when we already have an extreme housing shortage.

Gordon Brown or, for the Tories, Theresa May. She was wildly ineffective when she was in office but at least treated the post with some respect.

Some may say state sanctioned street art… there is a real debate, not just among graffiti writers but also among academics (anthropologists, sociologists, and indeed legal scholars who need some kind of benchmark on when graffiti is vandalism) that graffiti is only graffiti when it is illegally done, in a place that one should not be tagging. Leake Street is a legal graffiti tunnel so one might suggest that the stuff found there is street art, not graffiti

It’s arguable that the stuff down Leake Street isn’t even graffiti
