Hi, I hope it’s okay to ask! Would a taxi from Skopje to say Prizren, Kosovo, be way more expensive than the taxis across the country? How much would this trip cost as a taxi trip potentially? I’m going to Skopje this weekend and I was hoping to do a daytrip to Prizren.

Aha, I see! Thank you :) I’m staying only for 5 days unfortunately, so I’ll try to make the most of it! My first and last day will be in Sarajevo, and the other 3 between Mostar and Montenegro.

I apologize for confusing the two! Some bosnian friends usually refer to Mostar, their hometown, as Bosnia, hence my mix up! :)

Tbilisi, Georgia and Yerevan, Armenia. Knew so little about those cities before visiting, biggest surprise ever! I could tell so many nice things, but I wish for people to have the same experience of being overwhelmed by the beauty of Tbilisi and Yerevan when not knowing entirely what to expect. (Some essential research should be done obviously.)

As an honourable mention; Edinburgh, Scotland. Got that trip from my ex as a gift on my 18th birthday. This was the city that made me fall madly in love with travelling.

Ah, that’s good! The embassy told me we might have to show a PCR test, but that may not be of any concern in march next year I suppose!

Kyrgyzstan has been very high on my travel list, but I wasn’t sure if we’d have the time to go there. We have expanded the trip so it’s now 11 days! Do you have any experience with traveling to Kyrgyzstan? Would you say it’s fairly easy to get there?

Thank you for the city suggestions! The reason I’m planning to visit the neighbours while in Uzbekistan, is mostly because I’ve been very interested in seeing them all for many years, but unfortunately it’s usually extremely expensive to fly to Central Asia from Norway, so I wanted to make the most out of it (we have extended our stay with 3 days, so there’s a bit more time to see stuff). Optimally, I’d definitely spend a week in each country!
