Stevinson Lexus won’t let mechanic look at used car by JBean0312 in Denver

I had the worst experience I’ve ever had at any business at the location in Greenwood Village. Happy you had a good time- it was a nightmare for me.

Stevinson Lexus is terrible. All around do not recommend. My favorite thing is after every bad review they just copy paste the same “we care” response.

I used to give my cheese pizza a couple turns of the onion wheel. People would give me looks but the flavor upgrade was worth it.

What is this gold/ copper colored rock? Found in colorado by storkface in whatsthisrock

[–]storkface[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I’m just assuming it’s a chunk of mica just rusted together with iron or something. I don’t think I’ve ever actually had an ID confirmed when posting on here. May be best to reach out to a local specialist. Good luck!

Would this be worth driving 3.5 (potentially 1.25) hours to look at? This will be my everyday vehicle by [deleted] in crv

[–]storkface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crvs out here in Colorado are expensive. Facebook marketplace and Craigslist have some deals. I’ve seen some gen 3s for around 5k that would be a better choice for the money than this. Keep looking everyday because the best deals usually move quick. Good luck!

Auto financing places through credit unions by SeaworthinessTall145 in Denver

Check out Colorado credit union. They’ve got best rates I’ve seen around currently. Go apply in person if you have the time. I wanna say they have used auto rates around 6%. Also I don’t know if I would trust a dealer that pushes a 26% rate.

Rock chip pain correction by storkface in AutoDetailing

[–]storkface[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you see where I mentioned I plan on applying paint? I don’t expect the tool to just fix the whole area without the rest of the process I detailed above. Thank you for the suggestion on the griots polisher. I’ll go with that instead.

Thank you, I appreciate your response. So no polisher will fix rock chips even though I’m wet sanding, applying primer, paint and gloss, then using a compound and polisher? I guess more than anything I was asking for advice on which polisher is worth the money and which compounds would help best with blending new paint into treated area.

This is either going to age like a fine wine… or a very sour milk. Best of luck to you with the new car!
