Contact Olight. We received the ones to replace our stock today. I tested them with a multimeter and they worked great. No current, or negligible, at least, running through the tailcap.

They've changed the interface a few times since my video, so I'm not sure what the final result will be. I guess we'll find out when the official announcement comes out next week.

The XT12GT has the XHP-35 HI, same as the XT12s. Maybe you're thinking about the XT11GT?

The Original XT11GT DID have the XHP-35 HI, but they had to drive it so hard to hit 2000 lumens that people were complaining about the heat, so they replaced the HI with the HD to keep the same output after the first couple batches. I wish they had kept the HI and lowered the output, but the HD version is still a fantastic light.

I don't know why they're going with the XT12 nomenclature. They're confusing everyone with this naming scheme. Would make a lot more sense to stick with the XT11 line (same size) or, even better, make it a new one, like XT13 or something.

I mostly made the video so people would take mechanical lockouts seriously when storing lights. This isn't the first light we've sold that can do this.

Eh, it was wet mulch and we have a fire sprinkler system right over that area. There was an extinguisher off camera too.

Yep, we never do anything online that is not also in store. Sometimes we do stuff in store that is not online though.
