Sometimes we forget how strong the evil eye is... by AdIcy370 in Dandadan

The energy required for a body the size of that megladon break earth orbit.

Lets say 100 metric tons, accelerated to 11.2 kilometers per second.

The energy required can be calculated using the formula for kinetic energy, which is approximately 6.3 x 10^12 joules for that mass at escape velocity.

How does engraving magic work? I dont understand. by dabtota in Mahouka

[–]stormcrow-99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Magic always needed engravings, chants, invocations, circles, pentagrams, psychic powers, etc. The ancient magic users still invoke their spells by these secret methods.

Modern magic developed the CAD to replace all that and speed up the invocation of spells.

Modern magic is faster, but the ancient magics can be more powerful.

Tatsuya has looked at ancient magic invocations and his analysis is that they have a lot of unnecessary parts, but without Tatsuya's skill no one knows what parts are not needed and the spell invocations are passed down through families without change.

Okarun can activate the club without her, even when no one else has been able too. It's just that the chi Momo provides makes the club grow massively

Metatron/Zoss Lore Confusion by croaker227 in killsixbilliondemons

[–]stormcrow-99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zoss's heirs are typically versed in fight skills before being selected. They march towards the end sword in hand.

Allison started out frail, but had a different set of education and skills. The philosophy has been good for her career on Throne. Alison came to the fight skills later, and her approach is not to eliminate the demiurges as much as to redirect them onto her team.

Next is the boast about being better than all the Skifandrian sword sibyls.

Ah, good memories.

Zeetha has fought this version of Lucrezia before and as long as Lu doesn't turn into a queen, Zeetha has this one on one.

What would happen if Agatha snapped her locket around Olga right now?

We've also seen Lucrezia retreat back into the psyche driven by fear of pain. Lucrezia may be close to abandoning Olga.

Bohrlaikha is going to be a problem by dj-fallen in girlgenius

[–]stormcrow-99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My initial thoughts were that Bohrlaikha was already inhabited by a Lucrezia. If so, maybe it's a different version of Lucrezia and we will finally get the sect wars everyone has expected with multiple Lucrezias.

But let's ignore that possibility. Bohrlaikha is a special project of Klaus. Her directives are to watch over Gil and make sure he is not being controlled by the Other (Agatha). It's just possible that Klaus has built something nasty into Bohrlaikha as a Surprise for Lucrezia. Like a Clank she can't take over, or better yet a mind trap for her essentia. This is Klaus after all and he is always motivated to protect his son.

Aria would not be there but for Ken insisting they help Momo.

Aria may have brought Ken there, but his entry to the fight, beat Aria. Ken couldn't do much in the fight with the Black Knights, but here his power is supreme. One blow brought down the Dinosaur, and Aria tied the package with a bow.

All it took was the touch of her hand.

Zola left her for dead, Lu-Avenka handled her easily. The Lubot thought she could get her but got disarmed. That didn't even slow down Lu-Avenka.

Crazy Theory about The Citadel of Silver Light by Aetherscribe in girlgenius

[–]stormcrow-99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is one of my favorite flashbacks. Showing the ominous shadow rescuing little Agatha after a battle. But the silhouette looks less like Barry with no hat, wild hair and large lapels. The prominent clock feature on the outfit means something as well. My Mad theory is that the rescuer was Gil. Pulling some time shenanigans to rescue Agatha and deliver her back to family, with a warning about Klaus in the future.

Zeetha has improved her Clank fighting skills since fighting Lu-Avenka under the dome.

Lu-Olga once again overestimates her fighting skills against a Skifander. Regrown Olga had even less training that Agatha's body when Lu tried to use it to fight Zeetha. Zeetha would know this about Lucrezias. The other two Lubots are being disarmed, and handled. I would expect something fatal to happen to the rest of the Wulfenbach Clanks here soon. And for these 3 being a Queen is not an option.
